Latest survey results – Community and Business Perceptions Survey 2007 – Full Survey Results
An independent Community and Business Perceptions Survey was conducted by Catalyse Pty Ltd in September 2007.
The survey compared the level of satisfaction with 11 other West Australian Councils who had been surveyed in the past 12 months.
86% of residents and 72% of businesses surveyed indicated overall satisfaction with the City, and 72% praised the City’s services saying they received good value for money – increased satisfaction levels from last years’ results.
As well as setting the industry standard for overall satisfaction, the City also took top honours in ten areas of service, including:
- Verge-side bulk rubbish collections
- Sports and recreation facilities
- Streetscapes, parks and sporting grounds
- Road maintenance
- Youth services and facilities
- Promoting the City as a desirable place to live
- Value for money from rates
- Enforcement of local laws relating to food, health and noise
- Conservation and environmental management
- And how the business community is informed about local issues
Thank you to everyone who took part in the survey.
