The Creating Opportunities Campaign provides the City of Belmont with a platform to communicate the key activities that we have planned for the next three to five years.
We have addressed areas that we know are important to you, our residents and business community. Some of the key projects will include restoration of parks and environmental areas, increased opportunities in arts, culture and events, streetscape changes and the development of the Town Planning Scheme and Housing Strategy.
Other areas such as youth, family, business and economic development, TravelSmart, leisure, crime prevention, river access and community events will also see some new and exciting initiatives implemented.
We have developed a Community Wellbeing Plan and Scorecard, aimed at identifying key factors that will make a positive difference to the future of Belmont. It will address the City’s social and environmental needs.
