The City of Belmont has a decision making process that has been identified as best practice in Western Australian local government. The structure consists of forums or meetings being held every Tuesday, culminating in a formal Council meeting on the third week. This Decision Making Structure Diagram offers a visual guide of the process used by the City. The following links provide additional details of each step of the meeting cycle.

2008 Meeting Schedule
Meeting – Agenda and Minutes / Forum – Program and Notes Programmes/Agendas are available from 9am on the Saturday before each Agenda Forum or Council Meeting. Minutes of Council Meetings are available within 10 business days of the meeting. The ABF Information Matrix is included as an attachment to the Council Agenda the Saturday preceding the meeting. These documents can be accessed at the Ruth Faulkner Public Library (Progress Way, Cloverdale), the Civic Centre Administration (during office hours), or by using the links below. On occasions attachment documents cannot be downloaded from this site (due to size) and can only be accessed in hardcopy form.
