The City realises that it is not always convenient for you to visit the Council's offices in order to pay your rates. So for your convenience, the City of Belmont offers the following methods for payment of rates.
COMMONWEALTH BANK - (Not available for payment of interim rates)
Simply take your rate notice to any Commonwealth Bank branch. Please ensure that the Teller stamps and dates the top portion and returns it to you as your receipt.
PAY ON LINE- To pay online, simply click here. A small surcharge will apply to this payment method. This payment method is available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
BPAY (Biller code 8821) - Contact your participating financial institution to arrange payment from your cheque or savings account. Please quote Council's Biller code and your reference (assessment) number. Credit cards are no longer accepted. This payment method is available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
PAY BY PHONE (Biller ID 000207) - Simply telephone 1300 136 085 and follow the prompts. Please quote Council's Biller ID and your reference (assessment) number. A small surcharge will apply to this payment method.This payment method is available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
PAY IN PERSON - AT NEWSAGENTS - Look for the Bill Express logo at newsagents to pay your rates with cash, cheque, debit card, Mastercard or Visa. Simply telephone 1300 739 250 or click here to find your closest Newsagent.
PAY BY POST - Please make cheques payable to the City of Belmont. Cheques are required to be posted to City of Belmont, Locked Bag 5007, City Delivery Centre, Perth WA 6850. Please ensure that the bottom section of your rate notice is attached to the payment. The top copy can be retained for your information. Cheques are receipted on the day they are received. In order to ensure that the payment is received on time, please allow time for mail to be delivered by Australia Post.
PAY IN PERSON- AT THE CITY'S OFFICES - Please present rate notice intact to the Cashier at the City of Belmont Civic Centre, 215 Wright Street, Cloverdale. The office is located next to the Ruth Faulkner Library and opposite the Belmont Forum Shopping Centre.
Cashiers hours are 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday excluding public holidays.
EFTPOS facilities are available for payment using your debit card, Mastercard or Visa. No cash out facility is available.
