Aboriginal Cultural Awareness and Understanding Sessions

DATE: Thursday, 31 May 2018
TIME: Session 1 - 9am to 12pm        Session 2 - 1pm to 4pm
LOCATION: Rivervale Community Centre, Corner of Surrey Rd/Francisco Street, Rivervale

In recognition of National Reconciliation Week (27 May - 3 June), and as part of the City's Reconciliation Action Plan, the City invites community members and service providers to attend FREE sessions facilitated by Mr Danny Ford from Kambarang Services. Click here for the flyer.

​2018 NAIDOC Flag Raising Ceremony

DATE: Monday, 9 July 2018
TIME: 10:30am to 12pm
LOCATION: Wilson Park, Corner of Kooyong Road and Gerring Court, Rivervale

All members of the community are invited to attend the City of Belmont’s NAIDOC Flag Raising Ceremony followed by a yarn and morning tea.

NAIDOC Week 2018 will celebrate the invaluable contributions that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women have made – and continue to make - to our communities, our families, our rich history and to our nation.
