Creative Lifestyles Winter Series

NAIDOC 2019 Dance and Song Kids' Workshop
 

This workshop by Aboriginal artist Jade Dolman teaches Noongar culture through dance and song. Kids will learn about traditional lifestyle, language, native animals and get to see and touch some traditional tools. Suitable for kids 5+.  

Cost*:  FREE

Venue: Ruth Faulkner Public Library

Drawing - Beginners to Advanced

Join WA artist Shirley Winstanley in this 6 week course where you will learn about shape, tone and composition in drawing objects. You will also have the opportunity to explore the effects of negative space, edge and form in drawing. The skills you learn can then be applied to painting a model in the studio or 'plein air' landscape.

Basic materials supplied. Suitable for all levels.



Cost*:  City of Belmont residents - $90 per term
           Non-residents - $120 per term

Venue: Rivervale Community Centre (Meeting Room 2/3)
