Active, Nutritious and Creative Lifestyles Summer Series 2017

Artist in Residence - Leesa Padget

Come along and see Leesa Padget, winner of the 2016 City of Belmont Acquisitive Art Award paint and discuss her art techniques. Leesa will be working on an exciting new series exploring the relationship between animals and folklore.

This series celebrates whimsical depictions of mythical and fabled beasts together with common creatures. The underlying message is that if we do not care for our animals, the creatures that we know and love today will become tomorrow’s folklore.

Cost: FREE! No RSVP required.

Venue: Ruth Faulkner Public Library
When: Wednesday, 19 April 2017 and Thursday, 20 April 2017 from 10am to 2pm.
