 Community Grants Guide

The City of Belmont provides information to our community on grant opportunities to assist the identification and sources of funding for projects, support, organisational growth and capacity building.

Grant funding can help you purchase new equipment for your group or club, get a project off the ground or develop your group's capacity. The City shares grant information by email of funding opportunities, workshops and seminars and other grant based information of interest for community groups.

If you would like to receive news of grant opportunities by email please subscribe to our Community Grants Guide.

Community Grant Workshop

The City of Belmont holds a Grant Workshop once a year. Our next is on 12 March 2020.

Wendy Lamotte from Making a Difference Enterprises will be our presenter. Wendy’s sessions are lively and informative and she will guide you through the grant seeking process with ideas for where to look for funds and the best way to approach potential funding partners.

She will also cover how to meet the requirements of grant applications and how keep your funders happy once you have secured your grant.

All not-for-profit organisations and community groups based in the City of Belmont or that benefit the City of Belmont community are welcome to attend.
