Job Readiness Workshops
The City of Belmont is organising a series of workshops in coming months to support new migrants who are searching for employment and are keen to gain skills in their job searching journey.
The workshops will help migrants to develop skills to search for jobs, prepare resumes, prepare for interviews and gain knowledge of Australian workplace culture. There will also be opportunities to do mock interviews with the facilitators.
The workshops will be facilitated by Tommy Adebayo (Skilled Migrant Professionals) author of Migrant Success 101. Other organisations will be available to present practical information which will help migrants gain the support they need to find employment.
Further information will be made available in coming weeks about how to register for these workshops.
