|The City is offering a free trailor load of mulch
In accordance with WA Transport Laws please ensure you bring a
tarpaulin to cover your mulch load and secure the load as failure to do so will
result in being refused
Saturday, 3 October 2020 and
Sunday, 4 October 2020.
Time: 8am - 11am
Limit of one trailer load per resident, while stocks last.
|City Wide Weed Control

||As part of the City’s Annual Maintenance Programme, the City’s contractor will spray kerbs, medians and footpaths using 'Glyphosate', weather permitting.

Residents can register to join the No-Spray List by emailing the City. Registration to the No-Spray List requires residents to commit to; maintaining their verge including weed maintenance, re-register at the 30 June each year to remain on the No-Spray List, have written consent from the landlord or body corporate if your property is rented or a unit or strata complex, an understanding that the No-Spray List does not apply to parks, reserves or natural areas and that MRWA Roads are exempt from registration.
|Playground Removal and Replacement
||Epsom Park and Monier Park, Redcliffe
||As part of the City's on-going commitment to enhancing the quality of parks and facilities for the community, the playground equipment in Epsom Park and Monier Park will be upgraded.
||Works commenced in June.|
|Ascot Waters Broadleaf Weed Control
||As part of the City's Annual Maintenance Programme, the
City's contractor will be spraying the turfed areas with 'Spearhead'
turf herbicide, weather permitting.

‘Spearhead’ turf herbicide is a
weed control option widely used within the turf industry due to its
effectiveness, low odour and environmental safety.
appreciates that the application of a herbicide in public areas may be
of concern to some residents however all appropriate measures to limit
inconvenience to residents and park users will be undertaken.
