 Park and Reserve Maintenance

This page is updated on a regular basis so that you can find out what maintenance is occurring within the City of Belmont's parks and reserves.

Below is a list of current and upcoming works within the City.

Park and Reserve Works

Activity Location Description of Works Proposed Dates of Works​
​Park Upgrade
​Copley Park Stage 3 (Armadale Road to St Kilda Road)
The works will involve: renewing the existing irrigation system, building new garden beds and installing additional seating, installing steppers, a swing and bollards. Works will commence in July 2018 with an estimated duration of three to four months.
​Playground Upgrade ​Centenary Park ​The works involve the installation of a new playground adjacent to the Centenary Park Community Centre.
​Works commenced July and are due for completion in October 2018.

​Tomato Lake ​The works will involve the removal of the rope pyramid and the installation of a new climbing structure and tube slide. ​Works will commence late August and are due for completion by mid September 2018.
​City Wide Weed Control ​City of Belmont ​As part of the City’s Annual Maintenance Programme, the City’s contractor will spray kerbs, medians and footpaths using 'Glyphosate', weather permitting. July and October 2018
