 Parks and Reserves

There is a park within about a three minute walk of every family home in the City of Belmont. In fact, we’ve got around half the size of Kings Park in parklands and reserves! The City's parks cater not only for sporting activities but also for walking, jogging, cycling and family picnics. Many of our parks have barbecue and playground facilities and are popular spots for social club and community gatherings.

Parks Search

Visit one of our parks today for a family outing or just to enjoy time away from home or work. Our Parks Search function allows you to search for a park based on its location or the facilities available, including playgrounds, off-lead dog areas, sports facilities and more.

The City has 10 kilometres of picturesque Swan River foreshore, extending from Goodwood Parade boat ramp through to Garvey Park. The City also has a seven hectare wetland in Kewdale and remnant Banksia woodland in Belmont.
