The City’s Rangers are employed to deal with a variety of issues that
occur throughout the City, particularly in the areas of dog control,
parking and fire control. Wherever possible the Rangers look to resolve
problems through discussion, negotiation and public education.
If you would like to report an abandoned vehicle or speak about another issue please contact the City's Rangers on
Information for all domestic cat owners about the Cat Act 2011 and

1 November 2013. Click here for further information.
In Western Australia, all dogs over the age of three months must be
registered with a Local Authority. All dogs that are newly registered after
1 November 2013 must also be
microchipped. Dogs that were registered before this date will need to
be microchipped by 1 November 2015.

Shopping trolleys represent a major investment by retailers and
customers use this convenience on a daily basis. Regrettably there are
those in the community who abuse shopping trolleys by removing them from
the immediate area of the store or shopping centre only to abandon them
on the street, in reserves or other public places. Click here for further information.
When parking, it is the responsibility of the driver to make themselves
aware of any parking restrictions and local laws relating to parking. An infringement notice issued may be reviewed by the City if the recipient claims special circumstances. Click here for further information.
