Writing for Nature with a Splash of Colour

This online writing workshop is presented by ACEconnect and is full of inspiration to get your fascination, love, and care for the natural world onto paper! You'll explore ideas and techniques that draw on experiences and imagination to inspire writing with nature at heart.

Many of us are craving social connections more than ever before. Why not take this opportunity to start a virtual book club with friends? Available for 60 days from Thursday, 23 April 2020 the following popular titles are free to download and use simultaneously.

To access these books and more, download the BorrowBox Library app to your device, choose Ruth Faulkner Library and enter the last four digits of your library barcode as your PIN.

Jigsaw puzzles exercise both the left and right sides of the brain, improve short term memory, visual and spatial reasoning and are wonderful for relieving stress. The library team has put together some virtual jigsaw puzzles for you to try while we are closed.

​​Knitting Patterns and Tutorials


The Ruth Faulkner Library's League of Extraordinary Knitters may be on pause but that doesn't mean your knitting has to be!  Are keen to join a knitting group but don't feel you have the skills? Perhaps you are looking for some new patterns?
