Community Cookbook - lift the lid on your family recipes!

WANTED: Recipes for our Community Cookbook. Submit your favourite family recipe and win!

CLOSING DATE: Saturday, 29 April, 2017

The City of Belmont is set to publish its first community cookbook! Twelve major winners will attend an exclusive cooking workshop with food blogger and nutritionist, Sarah Moore, and will be specially featured in the cookbook with photos of their culinary masterpiece.

Entries may also require a photo permission form and copyright agreement form.

LEGO Club - Ancient Brick Wonders

TIME: 4:30pm to 5:30pm
 
Get creative with LEGO, make some new friends and play LEGO games galore! We will be celebrating 'National Heritage Month' by building historic and ancient sites such as the Eiffel Tower and the Great Wall of China. The session includes team building projects, challenges for speed builds and creative ‘freestyle’ builds. Your LEGO creations might even be displayed in the library.

Tiny Tots Storytime in the Park

 
DATE: Thursday, 4 May 2017 and Friday, 5 May 2017
TIME: 10:30am to 11am
 
We are celebrating National Play Outside Day by holding our Tiny Tots Storytime sessions in the beautiful Faulkner Park. Come and join in the stories, songs, games and nature craft activity.

Pack a picnic, bring a rug and enjoy the morning!

Please note that if the weather is unsuitable the sessions will be held inside the Library.

To celebrate the Australian Heritage Festival and the reopening of the Belmont Museum you can have a special tour of our 'mini' Museum. After the tour you can test your design skills as you decorate a frame that will be perfect for storing your picture memories.

Suitable for children aged 4 to 7 years.

He has extensive experience as a senior forensic science practitioner in the forensic investigation and management of serious crimes and terrorist offences in Northern Ireland.
