Age-Friendly Belmont Plan
The City of Belmont’s Age-Friendly Belmont Plan sets out the City’s objectives for providing future improvements in the lives of senior residents. An age-friendly community ensures seniors can continue to actively participate in their community feeling respected, valued and engaged.
The Age-Friendly Belmont Plan for the years 2017-2021 has been finalised after extensive engagement with Belmont residents through a number of community forums held across the City and via an online survey.

The group meets regularly and serves as a forum for community members and stakeholders to provide recommendations and feedback on the Age-Friendly Belmont Plan and also share information on activities and services planned by the City, or that are occurring within Belmont and local areas.
The Age-Friendly Advisory Group meets bi-monthly at the City of Belmont venue and members' participation is voluntary.
