The City offers a range of activities, both through its own services and through clubs operating in City facilities, to ensure senior residents have the opportunity to stay physically active, healthy and engaged in their community.
SilverSport supports eligible seniors to participate in sport and active recreation delivered by clubs, community organisations, businesses and recreation centers including, for example; masters swimming, bowls, group fitness classes, walking groups, gym memberships, yoga or pilates.
SilverSport can cover costs associated with sports club memberships or physical activity program fees of up to $200 per person until 30 June 2017, subject to available funding.
