Let's Talk about Dementia

The City of Belmont invites you to attend our next dementia awareness session. Did you know that over 70% of people living with dementia continue to live active lives within the community?

Come and join us for a cuppa and learn more about dementia including its cause, its symptoms and how it can impact someone's life. There will be an open question time and the opportunity to hear from someone living with dementia.

Belmont Memory Cafe

Do you, a family member or friend live with dementia? Join us for a coffee, a chat and the chance to make new friends.
Alzheimer’s WA and the City of Belmont are partnering with Tavolo Café to launch the Belmont Memory Café. A memory café is a regular meet up in a friendly venue where people living with dementia and their friends, family members and carers can share a coffee, cake and a chat.
The Belmont Memory Cafe meets at 10.30am on the first Wednesday of each month at Tavolo Cafe in Cloverdale.

Transperth Mystery Tour

The City of Belmont and Transperth invite you along to a free interactive public transport tour.

Transperth staff will take you on a fun and informative tour that will include local train stations, bus routes and train services. The session will also teach you how to plan a journey and help you understand the SmartRider ticketing system. Even if you know a little bit already, we guarantee you will learn something new.

Date:  Wednesday 25 September 2019
Time: 9:30am - 12 noon
Where: Meet at the City of Belmont Civic Centre, 215 Wright Street for a brief information session and morning tea before starting your tour on a Transperth bus.
