Belmont Memory Cafe

 
Do you, a family member or friend live with dementia? Join us for a coffee, a chat and the chance to make new friends.
 
Alzheimer’s WA and the City of Belmont are partnering with Tavolo Café to launch the Belmont Memory Café. A memory café is a regular meet up in a friendly venue where people living with dementia and their friends, family members and carers can share a coffee, cake and a chat.
 
The Belmont Memory Cafe meets at 10.30am on the first Wednesday of each month at Tavolo Cafe in Cloverdale.

Let's Talk About Dementia

The City of Belmont, in partnership with Alzheimer’s WA, invites you to attend a dementia awareness session. Over 70% of people living with dementia continue to live active lives within the community. Come and join us for a cuppa and learn more about dementia including its cause, its symptoms and how it can impact someone's life. There will be an open question time and the opportunity to hear from someone living with dementia.

Let's Talk About Older People's Rights

The City of Belmont, in partnership with Advocare and Northern Suburbs Community Legal Centre Inc, invites you to join us for a cuppa while listening to speakers presenting on Older People’s Rights including topics such as:

  • Enduring Power of Attorneys;
  • Family Agreements;
  • Free Legal Services;
  • Free Advocacy Services;
  • Elder Abuse Prevention.

After the session there will be opportunity to ask questions.
