 Events

As a precautionary measure, all City of Belmont events have been cancelled until further notice following Federal Government directives that all organised, non-essential gatherings not proceed to mitigate the spread of Coronavirus. The safety, health and wellbeing of our local community is our top priority. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your understanding.

We recommend you keep up-to-date with the City’s response to COVID-19 and impacts on future events via our official channels, being the City’s website and social media.

Let's Talk About... series

CANCELLED: Session 2 - Housing - What are the options?

Please note that this event has been cancelled.

Most older Western Australians want to age in the communities they know, where they feel valued and connected to family and friends. Come and join us to hear from the Department of Housing as they share the recently released ’Ageing with Choice’ which aims to address the barriers to accessing housing that meets changing needs.

As people start to consider downsizing or  exploring different living arrangements, it can be sometimes difficult to know where to start. This information session will give the opportunity to hear from people with lived experience who can share their stories - or you could share your own.

Date: Tuesday, 31 March 2020
Time: 10am - 12pm
Venue: Rivervale Community Centre, Cnr Francisco Street and Surrey Road, Rivervale

Session 3 - Advanced Life Planning - Planning Your Future for Everybody

Time: 10am - 12pm
Venue: Rivervale Community Centre, Cnr Francisco Street and Surrey Road, Rivervale
