The certifications assist the City in increased productivity, improved efficiency to reduce waste, less rework and continual improvement.
The City's Quality certification means that core processes are recognised internationally as being quality assured. The Quality Management System is based on seven principles including:
- system approach to management
- factual approach to decision making; and mutually beneficial supplier relationships
The City sought Certification to ensure that its processes achieve the right outcomes for the community and to improve consistency in these outcomes.
Occupational Safety and Health
The Safety Certification demonstrates the City's continued commitment to strengthening our safety culture and integrating occupational health & safety into all aspects of the organisation.
We do this by incorporating continuous improvement philosophy, leadership and consultation with all staff and stakeholders, and by maintaining the highest standards to protect the wellbeing of our people.
The environmental certification demonstrates that the City aims to control the impact that its activities, products and services have on the environment.
