Let's Celebrate Belmont is an exciting festival held throughout the City in the month of November. There will be something for everyone to enjoy, with events, activities and entertainment showcasing the many wonderful attributes that make our City, the City of Opportunity.

Carols in the Park

Join in the Christmas spirit at Carols in the Park

Kidz Fest

Faulkner Park turns into a fantasy land of fun at the annual City of Belmont Kidz Fest event. Kids aged 3 - 6 years can enjoy free carnvial rides, face painting, an animal farm, story-time and entertainment. This event is generally held in February.

Autumn River Festival

Enjoy a wonderful day of family fun by the river in the picturesque Garvey Park. There is something for everyone to enjoy at this event. A highlight includes the now famous Kailis 'Fish Fest', where residents with an Opportunity Card receive a free serve of yummy fish and chips.

Avon Descent Family Fun Day

Cheer on the Avon Descent competitors as they head towards the finish line of this exciting white water race. Includes expert commentary and activities for the whole family.This event coincides with the Avon Descent, which is held in August each year.

Movies In The Park

The City hosts free Movies in the Park so community members can experience a special evening outdoors during the warmer months.
