Streetscapes 

The City of Belmont has over 300 hectares of public open space and 11 kilometres of Swan River foreshore. Statistics show that 80% of people who undertake physical activity do so in a streetscape environment. The City is committed to enhancing the quality of life for our community through the provision of streetscapes that are functional and vibrant, and encourage physical activity and community interaction in an attractive setting.

To help guide us in this commitment, we have developed a strategy that is focused on developing streetscapes that provide a sense of place that is uniquely Belmont.

The Streetscape Strategy is currently being updated and a new version will be available in coming months.
