City of Belmont Rates Incentive Competition
In order to be eligible for entry into the competition, you must pay the full amount shown on your rate notice by any of the approved payment methods listed on your rates notice. The City of Belmont ('City') must receive this payment by the due date as shown on the original rate notice ('Close of Entries'). Any payment received by the City after Close of Entries will result in the relevant ratepayer being excluded from entry into the Draw. The City is not responsible for any failure to receive the full payment before Close of Entries regardless of the method of payment used.
If the City receives full payment before the Close of Entries then you are an Eligible Ratepayer and will automatically be entered into the Draw.
The following people and entities are not entitled to be Eligible Ratepayers and will be excluded from the Draw
- Councillors and employees of the City;
- The immediate family members of Councillors and employees of the City; and
- Government agencies, Government Departments and Government Ministers
Winners will be determined by computer random selection from records containing all Eligible Ratepayers ('the Draw').
The prizes are non-transferable and are not redeemable for cash.
Conditions may apply to the prizes and you must comply with all relevant conditions to be entitled to redeem a prize.
The City’s decision on the Draw will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
The Draw will take place at the City of Belmont offices on the draw date.
The City will notify winners by mail and the results will be published in The West Australian and Southern Gazette newspapers within 10 days of the draw.
