The Imaginarium

Get musical, magical and fantastical when The Imaginarium comes to town!

This year's four day festival promises to be an unforgettable extravaganza, filled with laughter, excitement, and a carnival atmosphere!

Watch Faulkner Park and The Glasshouse come alive with cabaret, circus, burlesque, music, magic, puppetry and more this October.

Entry is free and ticketed shows range from $10 to $20.

Festival Opening Times

  • Thursday 26 October, 5pm to 10pm
  • Friday 27 October, 5pm to 10pm
  • Saturday 28 October, 12pm to 10pm
  • Sunday 29 October, 12pm to 9.30pm

Conditions of Entry

  • The Imaginarium is a licensed venue. Anyone aged under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Proof of age may be requested at entry.
  • Companion tickets are available to those with a valid Companion card free of charge. Please email events@belmont.wa.gov.au for the discount code.
  • Entry to the festival, bar and food trucks is free.
  • This event is wheelchair accessible. However, as this event will be held at Faulkner Park, please note that the grass may be wet or soft following rain. 
  • Cashless festival, card payment only
  • No dogs are permitted at The Imaginarium (service animals are welcome)

The Imaginarium isn’t just a festival, it’s a feeling!

Keep your eyes peeled for roving acrobats, stilt walking characters, close-up magicians, and musicians wandering the festival site. We’ll also be joined by drag queens, circus performers and amazing acrobats.  
 
Our roving performances include:

  • Flight, and Rise by Red Top Creations
  • Toby Z Magic

Getting There

  • We recommend taking public transport to The Imaginarium. The festival site is well serviced with several bus routes.
  • The nearest bus stops to Faulkner Park are Wright Street and Belmont Forum Shopping Centre, and Abernethy Road after Hendra Street. TravelSmart and use the Transperth Journey Planner to find the best route for you. We also encourage you to walk or cycle to the event.
  • Event parking is available on Wright Street, Cloverdale (in front of the Oriental Supermarket).

Imaginarium Workshops

Unleash your creative potential post-festival at The Imaginarium Workshops! Learn the skills you saw on stage, and keep the magic alive this festival season.

Join us for a series of dynamic workshops that will ignite your creativity, and help you try something new. You’ll be guided by your favorite acts, with opportunities to learn stand-up comedy, acrobatics, dance and more.

Workshop tickets from $5 and will run from Friday 3 November to Sunday 5 November.
