Development Area 7 Structure Plan
The Development Area 7 precinct:
- Encompasses approximately 4.67 hectares of land bound by Tibradden Circle, Coolgardie Avenue, Central Avenue and Garvey Park;
- Comprises 11 lots in multiple ownership.
The Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) is the majority landowner with this precinct, representing 3.89 hectares of land comprising Lot 602 Coolgardie Avenue.
A Structure Plan for Development Area 7
- Was approved by Council on 21 December 2010 and was endorsed by the WAPC on 4 April 2013;
- Indicates a future R20/R40 coding for nine properties located in the south-eastern portion of the precinct. This coding has not yet been applied but will be investigated through an upcoming review of Local Planning Scheme No. 15.
Further investigation and planning work needs to be completed for the remainder of the area, due to environment and site constraints. This is land owned by the WAPC. The WAPC has not indicated whether it will progress this planning work, so the timing of any redevelopment is unknown.
