Temporary closure of Ruth Faulkner Library

Ruth Faulkner Library and Belmont Museum will temporarily close from its current location from 4pm Friday 28 August.

The closure will enable the Library and Museum to relocate into Belmont Hub at 213 Wright Street.

It is anticipated that the library will re-open in mid October 2020.

During the closure, Library and Museum officers can be contacted between 9am and 5pm weekdays via phone 9477 7150 or email libinfodesk@belmont.wa.gov.au.

In the lead up to the closure, the Ruth Faulkner Library will offer customers increased loans and an extended loan period for items to be returned when the library re-opens.

Belmont Hub is a modern multi-purpose, cross-generational building intended for all the community to access. It includes a state-of-the-art library over two levels with digital hub and recording studio, enhanced Belmont Museum, Senior Citizens Centre, office space for community service organisation providers with crèche, and more.

The Civic Centre will continue to house City of Belmont administration offices and staff.

To keep informed with the upcoming opening of our new community focused, cross-generational building, vist our Belmont Hub webpage, social media channels and e-newsletters will be regularly updated with the latest information.
