This program is held in the Activity Hall, Seniors Hub
Belmont Interest Group (B.I.G.) is for adults of all ages. Relax and enjoy good company while listening to guest speakers and presenters. This program will be followed by an social afternoon tea.

Community Lab - Board Games

Welcome to Community Lab! These sessions are an unstructured, self-directed opportunity to play board games with like-minded friends in a safe way. A space for adults of any age to play boardgames with friends – both old and new. Enjoy a wide range of games - from the classics such as Mah-jong and Scrabble through to modern favourites such as Unstable Unicorns.

Community Lab - Yarn Crafts

Welcome to Community Lab! These sessions are an unstructured, self-directed opportunity to craft with like-minded friends in a safe way. A space for adults to chat, knit, crochet and craft with friends – both old and new. You don’t have to be an expert to join in. This is a judgement free zone! However, you may find yourself inspired by the experienced crafters who attend.

Be a part of a creative and supportive grassroots writing collective in Belmont. Meet with local writers and creatives - and your facilitator, local author and activist Rachel Watts - as we create and rebuild our local writers collective together.
If you love to write in any medium, this is an invitation to come together with other writers to workshop stories, songs, articles or poems and share your love of the written word.
