Belmont Interest Group (B.I.G.) is for adults of all ages. Relax and enjoy good company while listening to guest speakers and presenters. If you have difficulty accessing or using public transport, a transport service within City of Belmont boundaries may be available on request.

Community Lab - Board Games
Wednesdays, 9:30am to 11:30pm
Welcome to Community Lab! These sessions are an unstructured, self-directed opportunity to play board games with like-minded friends in a safe way. A space for adults of any age to play boardgames with friends – both old and new. Enjoy a wide range of games - from the classics such as Mah-jong and Scrabble through to modern favourites such as Unstable Unicorns.

Community Lab - Yarn Crafts
Tuesdays, 10am to 12noon
Welcome to Community Lab! These sessions are an unstructured, self-directed opportunity to craft with like-minded friends in a safe way. A space for adults to chat, knit, crochet and craft with friends – both old and new. You don’t have to be an expert to join in. This is a judgement free zone! However, you may find yourself inspired by the experienced crafters who attend.

Mindfulness Meditation

Novel Ideas (Postponed)
First and third Sunday of each month, 1:30pm to 3:30pm
(If the following Monday is a public holiday the group will not run on that date)
This community-run group of passionate writers meets monthly for writing exercises, critique and more. The first Sunday of the month is dedicated to writing while the third Sunday of the month is used for critique, discussion and support. A supportive community of writers can help you get that novel out of your mind and onto the page!

City of Belmont Ukulele Group (COBUG) (Postponed)
First and third Tuesday of each month, 1:30pm to 3:30pm
Join the community group that just wants to play! All ukulele players are welcome (regardless of skill level) for a play and sing-a-long session. This group is not a ukulele class but an amazing opportunity to practice, have fun and enjoy music for the joy of it.
