Australian English
Thursdays weekly during school term, 1pm to 3pm
The City of Belmont's free Australian English Classes are a social and informal way to improve your English. No matter your level of English, this class will help with vocabulary, pronunciation, listening skills, slang and more.
Parents are welcome to leave class early to pick children up from school.

Belmont Interest Group
For adults and seniors
First Friday of each month, 2:30pm to 3:30pm
(If the first Friday is a public holiday Belmont Interest Group will be held on the second Friday)
This program is held in the Activity Hall, Seniors Hub
Belmont Interest Group (B.I.G.) is for adults of all ages. Relax and enjoy good company while listening to guest speakers and presenters. This program will be followed by an social afternoon tea.

Book Club
First Wednesday of each month, 1:30pm to 2:30pm
Second Sunday of each month, 2pm to 3pm
If you are looking for your next great read, here is your chance to discuss and review books of all genres and meet like-minded readers. Explore best-selling authors such as Di Morrisey, David Baldacci and Tana French each month in this diverse and welcoming group.

Crafternoon
For adults and young people 16+
Saturdays monthly, 12:30pm to 2pm
Embrace your creative side and enjoy a variety of engaging workshops designed to promote creativity through exploration, learning and hands-on practice. Each session is unique, fun and tailored to beginners.

Community Lab: Board Games
For adults and young people 16+
Wednesdays weekly, 9:30am to 12pm
Welcome to Community Lab! These sessions are an unstructured, self-directed opportunity to play board games with like-minded friends in a safe way. A space for adults of any age to play boardgames with friends – both old and new. Enjoy a wide range of games - from the classics such as Mah-jong and Scrabble through to modern favourites such as Unstable Unicorns.

Community Lab: Craft Corner
For adults and young people 16+
Tuesdays weekly, 9:30am to 12pm
Welcome to Community Lab! These sessions are an unstructured, self-directed opportunity to craft with like-minded friends in a safe way. A space for adults to chat, knit, crochet and craft with friends – both old and new. You don’t have to be an expert to join in. This is a judgement free zone! However, you may find yourself inspired by the experienced crafters who attend.
