Baby Bookworms
For parents of babies up to 1 year of age
Thursdays during workshop dates, 9:30am to 10:15am
This five-week workshop series is designed to help you learn about brain development, sensory learning, early literacy and ways to connect with your baby.
To book your place, please complete the online Baby Bookworms Expression of Interest form or visit us during opening hours to ask one of our friendly library staff for assistance.
Bubs at the Hub
For babies and toddlers up to 2 years
Mondays during school term, 9:30am to 10:30am
Wednesdays during school term, 10:30am to 11:30am
Enjoy rhymes, songs and stories with your baby and connect with other parents in your local community.
Tickets are not required for this free event.
Storytime
For families with children 2 to 6 years
Tuesdays during school term, 10:30am to 11:30am
First Saturday of every month excl. January 10:30am to 11:30am
Join us for stories, rhymes and songs in this fun, interactive and educational Storytime. After the session you are encouraged to stay and meet with other local families as children engage in sensory play and gross motor activities.
Tickets are not required for this free event.
Learning English Through Storytime (LETS)
For children 3 to 4 years
Weekly on Thursdays during workshop dates, 10am to 11:30am
Learning English Through Storytime workshops are for children aged 3 and 4 years and their parents, grandparents and guardians. The workshops help newly arrived Australians to learn English as a second language.
To book your place, please complete the online LETS Expression of Interest form or visit us during opening hours to ask one of our friendly library staff for assistance.
Curious Kids
For children 5 to 9 years
Once a month on a Wednesday, 4pm to 5pm
Young minds come alive in this hands-on workshop experience where children are encouraged to explore real world topics relating to science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics.

LEGO Club
For children 5 to 12 years
Once a month on a Thursday, 4pm to 5pm
LEGO is an amazing tool to help children develop engineering, problem-solving and collaboration skills through play. Each month we explore a different theme through a series of mini challanges that encourage children to widen their imagination and creativitiy.

Historia
For children 8 to 13 years
Once a month on a Monday, 4pm to 5pm
Historia workshops explore the mysteries, wonders, and oddities of local and world history through hands-on activities.

Rewards for Reading
Your library has reader reward programs for all ages to encourage and inspire reading for pleasure and education.
Belmonster Book Bites
For children from birth to 5 years
A simple reader reward program designed to encourage early literacy for younger children. Each time you visit the library and borrow three or more children’s books you will receive a stamp on your child’s card. For each ten stamps collected your child will be able to choose a free book to keep and add to your home library. To begin, simply ask one of our friendly staff for your rewards card.
Story Seekers
For children from 5 to 12 years
Story Seekers invites young readers to explore a wide range of genres while earning fun rewards along the way. As they explore different collections, they'll collect a variety of Belmonster stamps, each representing a new genre. For each ten stamps collected they get to choose a free book or Belmonster merchandies. If they collect 3 different types of Belmontser stamps, they'll be entered into a major prize draw at the end of the year.
Children are encouraged and rewarded as they move through reading levels through prizes and incentives.
