Local History Photographic Competition
2026 Theme: Urban Landscapes
This year we’re looking for photos that capture the theme “Urban Landscapes” showcasing the unique character and beauty of the City of Belmont places where people, industry, and the environment come together.
We’re looking for photographs that show how Belmont’s urban spaces are used, shaped, and experienced. We’re especially interested in images that reflect change.
Your image might show a factory or business precinct, a construction site transforming the skyline, a local institution, a community event, or a familiar place changing over time. It could be a striking city view, an everyday scene, or a small detail that captures the character of Belmont.
While the focus is on Urban Landscapes, you’re welcome to submit any photograph that reflects life in the City of Belmont. Every image has a story to tell and helps preserve our shared history for future generations.
Entries open Friday 16 January 2026.
Entries close Friday 13 March 2026.
