Lost...

Lost … is a collection of recent paintings from Olivia Jones, an exploration into her life experiences. Splashes of brightly coloured oil paint adorn the raw hessian surfaces. In her textural paintings Jones uses crushed Toodyay rock, collected from her family’s property. It is a link to a time of childhood innocence, solitude and time spent exploring the Outback of Western Australia.

Olivia Jones is an early career artist working in Western Australia. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from Curtin University. She has exhibited nationally at The Other Art Fair (Melbourne, 2017). Her first major solo show was at KolbuszSpace in February 2022 with funding awarded through the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries for creative development.
