The City of Belmont Opportunity Awards were established in 1998 to recognise individuals, groups or organisations that contributed to a significant/outstanding project within the City over the past twelve months.
Through their contributions, they have help make the City of Belmont a place where everyone has the opportunity to belong.
City of Belmont Mayor Robert Rossi presented the following award winners at the 2024 Mayoral Dinner.
- Scott ‘Optamus’ Griffiths for his work delivering a Hip Hop Ed program at Belmont City College.
- Yondee Shane Hansen for his contribution to our city through various artworks, including the new Acknowledgement of Country public artwork at Belmont Hub.
- Hungry Sky for their continued work developing digital interactive content for Belmont Museum.
We would like to thank all of the winners for their contribution.
