Our annual Art Awards return this October, transforming The Glasshouse into an inspiring showcase of creativity, connection and storytelling.
More than 580 entries were submitted by artists based locally and across the state, with 300 artworks selected for this year’s Awards and two-week exhibition. Together, they offer a snapshot of the talent, perspectives and stories that shaped our community over the last year.
Running from Saturday 24 October to Saturday 7 November, the free exhibition features an exciting mix of drawing, painting, photography, textiles, sculpture and ceramics, inviting visitors to discover new artists, explore creative styles and connect with different works.
The 2026 Art Awards experience begins with the Opening Night on Friday 23 October, where this year’s winners will be revealed. The following afternoon will see a celebration of the City’s youngest creatives, with a dedicated Youth Awards event announcing the youth winners.
The creative spirit extends into Faulkner Park this year, with a special outdoor edition of the Community Markets in Kambarang on Sunday 25 October.
Featuring 100% handmade goods from local artisans and creatives, the markets offer a chance to browse unique creations, discover local talent and support small businesses.
Whether you're an art lover, aspiring creative or simply looking for a great day out, we can’t wait to welcome you to this year’s Art Awards.
