The results of the City of Belmont MARKYT Community, Wellbeing and Business Perceptions Scorecards are now available.
The scorecards are a part of our ongoing commitment to enhance the services and facilities we provide to our residents and local businesses.
Conducted by independent market research providers Catalyse, the survey measures the community’s overall satisfaction and compares the results with other participating local governments to calculate satisfaction ratings and industry standards.
The Community and Wellbeing Perception Scorecard results identified the City as an industry leader in areas such as multiculturalism, value for money from council rates, openness and transparency, and digital communications through our website and email newsletter.
The scorecard also identified community priorities including safety and crime prevention, lighting, streetscapes, trees and verges, sustainability and climate change, as well as seniors services and care.

The Business Perceptions Scorecard has provided valuable insights into how the City supports local businesses. The City was identified as an industry leader in providing value for money from council rates, with priorities including assistance with marketing, networking, and business support services.
