  • The City’s Civic Centre (215 Wright Street) will close from 4:45pm Friday 23 April.
  • Belmont Hub (213 Wright Street), including Ruth Faulkner Library and Belmont Museum will close from 7pm Friday 23 April.
  • Belmont Oasis Leisure Centre will close from 8pm Friday 23 April.
  • The City’s Civic Centre (215 Wright Street) will close from 4:45pm Friday 23 April.
  • The Seniors Hub is now closed.
Please note that due to time constraints, some City playgrounds and outdoor exercise areas will not have this snap-shutdown signposted at the location. Despite this, all playgrounds and exercise areas are closed and are not to be used during the lockdown.

This is an emerging situation and the City will provide further updates via the City of Belmont website and social media.

Masks are mandatory from 6pm Friday 23 April and over the three-day lockdown for Perth and Peel residents, and we recommend they be worn immediately. Masks are not necessary for children under 12.

People are encouraged to get tested if they have symptoms and if people have been to an exposure site, they must go and get tested. View testing locations

All residents are encouraged to comply with State Government restrictions.
