Exploring Opportunities to Enhance Garvey Park's Trail Network

For the latest news and updates, visit the Garvey Park Trail Development Plan Belmont Connect project page.

We’re calling on the community to share your ideas, feedback and experiences to help shape an enhanced trail network at Garvey Park, Ascot.

Garvey Park is one of the City’s prime riverside public spaces, playing home to major City events, environmental assets, and supporting a wide range of recreation activities.

Through funding received from the Department of Local Government, Sports and Cultural Industries Trail Planning Grants Program, we’re creating a Trail Development Plan to explore opportunities and guide future activation of the trails.

The Trail Development Plan will play an important role in delivering a trail network that is well planned and designed, protects Garvey Park's natural assets, and meets the needs of our current and future community.

You can contribute by completing our survey and sharing your ideas on our Interactive Garvey Park Map via Belmont Connect. Submissions are open until Friday 24 November 2023.

For more information on the project, visit the Garvey Park Trails Development Plan project page on Belmont Connect or contact Leisure Services on recreation@belmont.wa.gov.au
