The spirit of Christmas is taking over Miles Park on Saturday 13 December with the return of our much-loved Let’s Celebrate Christmas event.
Pack a picnic rug and settle in for an evening under the stars as Perth Symphony Orchestra fill the park with the sounds of the season during a special live concert. Expect classic carols, uplifting melodies and a few fun surprises along the way.
Across the evening you’ll see local schools take the stage to share their favourite carols, plus special performances from Youth Ballet Western Australia, and our very own Community Choir performing with Perth Symphony Singers.
Our Christmas Markets return with stalls from more than 30 creatives and small businesses for you to explore. With handmade treats, thoughtful gifts and unique stocking fillers, it’s the perfect chance to support local businesses and finish your festive shopping.
There’ll be a stack of family-friendly activities for you to get involved with, plus an array of food trucks to create the perfect picnic dinner. We’ll be topping off the evening with a dazzling fireworks display.
Wander down from 5pm to shop our Christmas Markets, grab a meal from the food trucks and settle in before the show kicks-off at 6pm.
A free shuttle bus will be travelling between Belmont Hub and Miles Park throughout the evening to help locals get safely to and from the event.
Whether you’re coming with friends, family or neighbours, this magical evening is an opportunity to come together as a community and celebrate the season.
