Share your thoughts in our parking review of The Springs

We are exploring ways to improve street parking in The Springs.

To do that, we’re conducting a parking review that will consider community feedback on the following issues:

  • Use of street parking as long-term residential overflow parking
  • Turnover of street parking bays
  • Turnover in Cracknell Park carpark
  • Illegal verge parking, causing damage and loss of amenity
  • Unauthorised parking on vacant land.

We are considering our options to address these issues in ways that improve availability of street parking, prevent damage to roads and verges, and control illegal parking. We are not considering introducing paid or permit parking.

If you live, work, or visit The Springs, we would like to hear your thoughts on the parking issues we’ve identified and any concerns we may have missed.

To share your thoughts, visit Belmont Connect or contact the City by Sunday 15 December.
