We have been made aware of a phone scam currently targeting members of our community.
Some residents have reported receiving calls from someone claiming to be conducting a City of Belmont phone survey and requesting personal information. We are not currently conducting any phone surveys.
Please be cautious of unsolicited phone calls. Do not share personal information, including contact details, financial information or online account details, unless you are certain of the caller’s identity.

If you believe you have been contacted by a scammer, or have shared personal information, we encourage you to report the scam through the Australian Government’s Scamwatch service.
