Following a Council decision at the 25 August 2026 Ordinary Council Meeting, we are trialling a new Council meeting format until March 2027.
As part of the trial, we will no longer hold Agenda Briefing Forums. Instead, community members will be able to address Council through a new Public Statement Time during Ordinary Council Meetings.
There will be no change to public access to Council agendas, minutes or livestreams.
The trial will run until March 2027, after which we will review the outcomes and consider future meeting arrangements.
