Art Prizes - Everything You Need to Know

Dive in to the City of Belmont 2026 Art Awards Workshop Series!

This motivational workshop is led by Sandra Murray, a Perth based independent art curator, consultant and artist mentor. Sandra will advise artists on how and where to apply for art prizes, what to consider, the do’s and don’ts, and the benefits of entering an art prize.

Hear about different ways of framing and mounting, the importance of provenance and documentation, plus practical tips. This workshop is ideal for new, emerging and mid-career artists, and will include a section on pricing your artwork, essential for all artists.
