CSI Workshop for National Science Week 2023 (Afternoon Session)

Join us for a Science Week Special where you will get a chance to use forensic science to solve a made-up mystery crime scene.

For children 8 to 14 years

These sessions will be held in the Innovation Lab.

There has been a robbery! Someone has broken into the Cow Creek Café and stolen money from the safe. Detective Shirley Holmes is on the case, but she needs your help. Can you analyse the evidence from the scene to help identify the culprit?

In this hands-on workshop, you will take on the role of a forensic investigator assigned to a robbery case. Your job is to analyse the various types of evidence (including shoe prints, fibres, and soil) recovered from the scene, then combine what you’ve learned with information about the suspects to piece together how the crime unfolded!

Book your free tickets via Eventbrite.
