Free Mulch Day 2025
Collect a free trailer load of locally-made mulch for your City of Belmont home.
The City of Belmont wood chipper is hard at work throughout the year, transforming fallen branches and tree trimmings into the mulch you see in local parks, natural areas and verge trees.
As the winter planting season wraps up, residents have the opportunity to collect a free trailer load of mulch to use on their gardens.
Please note there is a limit of one trailer load per resident (proof of residency required), while stocks last.
In accordance with WA Transport Laws please ensure you bring a tarpaulin to cover your mulch load and secure the load. Failure to do so will result in refusal.
