National Reconciliation Week: The Australian Dream

Acknowledge National Reconciliation Week this year at the City of Belmont screening of "The Australian Dream".

To Acknowledge National Reconciliation Week this year at the City of Belmont attend our screening of "The Australian Dream".

Join us at Reading Cinemas for the remarkable story of AFL legend Adam Goodes exploring race, identity and belonging in Australia today. For the first time Adam reveals his profoundly emotional journey in his own words, and asks fundamental questions about the nature of racism and discrimination in society today.

We’ll be joined by ex-AFL star Winston Abrahom to introduce the movie at the beginning of the sesson. Discuss the documentary and gain insight into our collective reconciliation journey.

Tickets are $5 for City of Belmont Residents, and $10 for Non-Residents. Bookings are essential. Popcorn and drinks are provided on arrival.

Book tickets via Eventbrite.

If you require wheelchair access, please contact Linda Abu-Bassin Cultural Engagement team on 9477 7447 or at linda.abulashin@belmont.wa.gov.au.
