Rangers keep a record of any dogs and cats reported by their owners as being lost. They can then try to match details from these reports with any dog or cat that may either be reported as found or impounded.
 
Please make sure your cat or dog wears a collar and tag, and keep their microchip details up to date. This will help your pet be returned to you if they become lost.

If you have lost your cat or dog, please phone the City of Belmont's Rangers on 9477 7224 and your local vet. You may also like to notify local vets or surrounding local governments in case your pet is found in other areas.
