Support for young people
Specialised support for young people is available at The Base. Young people can speak with qualified case workers and youth workers to get tailored support.
Case management support provides young people with information, referrals, advocacy, goal-setting and informal counselling.
Young people who need support can get help tailored to their individual needs through this service, which is available Monday to Friday from 10am to 6pm.
The Base also offers help with job searching, resume writing, using computers and building skills, with youth workers on hand to provide guidance and encouragement.
If you're going through a tough time, the team can connect you with crisis and wellbeing support, or help you access Centrelink assistance when needed.
The Centrelink outreach team is available by appointment through the centre if you need help making a claim, paying off debts, or finding out which payment is right for you.

Support for schools
Through The Base, we offer support with transitioning students to year 7, case management and more. For more information, contact
