Learn English
Beginner English classes starting February 2025
We’ve teamed up with Mercy Works to provide free beginner English classes. If you know a friend, family member, or neighbours who could benefit, you can help them get started.
The classes are for people from refugee backgrounds, those with humanitarian visas, and newly arrived migrants who want to build essential English language skills.
Classes will be held from 10am - 12pm on Wednesdays, beginning February 2025, at Belmont Oasis.
Children aged 0 to 5 years are welcome, and free childcare is available if needed.
Registration of Interest is essential. To express your interest, please fill out this form or call 9477 7219.
Check back soon - we'll provide information on the Beginner English program, translated into the 12 most used languages other than English in Belmont.
