CCTV Footage Requests

Our CCTV network footage
Our CCTV network has over 680 cameras active in high-traffic public areas. The CCTV network has been developed to enhance safety in public areas, deter unlawful activities, and address perception concerns. In part, our CCTV network can provide real-time information to WA Police and other key enforcement services.
The operation and management of our CCTV network, including the management, storage and release of video footage, is handled in accordance with our CCTV Code of Conduct, CCTV Management and Operations Manual, and applicable legislation.
Requesting CCTV footage
Only people who are involved on or impacted by an incident captured by our CCTV may request that relevant footage be reviewed or preserved. Please note CCTV footage can only be released to authorised law enforcement agencies.
Before a CCTV footage request can be granted, an incident report must be lodged to the relevant authorities. To assist with processing, footage requests should include:
- The relevant authorities' report number
- Date, time, and location of the incident
- A brief description of the incident.
