The City of Belmont has an extensive CCTV system of more than 680 cameras. These CCTV cameras have been installed in shopping centres, parks and other community hubs around the City. The City also partnered with local businesses to extend the system into hard-to-reach areas.
 
This system has helped WA Police with a number of successful prosecutions for a range of offences.

Monitoring and managing CCTV

The City does not monitor the system but footage can be accessed and downloaded on request by the WA Police.
