Information for Applicants
The City of Belmont is committed to a diverse and inclusive workforce and encourages applications from people of all backgrounds and abilities. To be eligible to work with the City, you must be able to provide evidence that you are an Australian citizen, have permanent resident status in Australia, or have a visa that allows you to live and work in Australia for the period of your employment contract. Additionally, applicants must meet relevant role requirements and pre-employment checks, including:
- Providing details of two professional referees (to whom you have reported to directly), including your current employer (if applicable).
- Providing a satisfactory National Police Certificate, issued within the 12 months prior to appointment.
- Attending a pre-employment medical assessment (if required).
- Submitting academic qualifications, licences, or other specified documents as outlined in the position description.
- Additional selection tests, such as skills aptitude tests, where applicable.
- Declare any secondary employment.

- Applications are considered as they are received, and interviews will be arranged accordingly. The City reserved the right to close adverts early, and as such, early applications are encouraged.
