Tenders
The City of Belmont aims to provide quality services which represent the best value for money.
If a supply of goods or services is expected to cost more than $250,000, the City will invite public tenders. These invitations to tender will be advertised in The West Australian newspaper, on this web page and through the City's eTendering portal.
Important information about tenders
The City has a number of policies and processes for managing purchasing and tenders. These are designed to ensure fairness and transparency and meet the requirements of the Local Government Act 1995 and the Local Government (Functions and General) Regulations 1996.
Each tender may have both specific and general conditions. The City aims to select the tender(s) that represent the best value for money for the City. This means:
- The City may accept more than one tenders;
- The City is not bound to accept the lowest tender;
- The City may reject all of the tenders submitted if none of the tenders are found to be suitable.
Please note, the canvassing of Elected Members, employees of the City of Belmont or any member of a selection panel will disqualify the tender.
The eTendering portal
The City’s eTendering portal is managed by Open Windows and provides details of current public tenders advertised by the City. You can use this portal to view, edit and submit your tender documents online.
Before you begin the tender response process, please read the
City of Belmont eTendering Guide for Respondents.
