Report a road maintenance issue

City of Belmont staff members report any road maintenance issues they may come across – and invite you to report any road maintenance issues you may find.

The major issues the City looks for and would like to have reported are: 
 

• Potholes and other road repairs
• Missing or damaged bollards and handrails
• Overhanging trees and encroaching vegetation on private property
• Missing or damaged street name signs
• Blocked stormwater drains or flooding
• Rubbish on verges and roads
• Damaged kerbs
• Footpath or cycleway repairs
• Damaged bus shelters
• Faulty lighting on streets and reserves
• Broken glass on footpaths and roads

Every year, the City invests in maintaining its road network, using road asset management software to prioritise any road upgrades. Sometimes, small sections might be overlooked. If you feel your road should be upgraded or have a small section which needs to be repaired, please feel free to phone the City’s Works team or report it online.

Report a damaged or missing traffic sign or signal

If you see that a directional sign (such as Stop, Give Way, No Through Road signs) or traffic control signal is damaged or missing, please report this to Main Roads Western Australia. You can phone 1800 800 009 or complete a fault form on their website.
