Waste water treatment
Effluent and liquid wastes need to be treated and disposed of carefully to manage any risks to human health and environmental contamination.
You can only dispose of effluent and liquid waste on your site if there is no access to sewer and you have a permit. All properties with sewer connections available within 91 metres of the property boundary must connect to the sewer.

You can follow this application process for all types of systems including septic tanks and leach drains, grey water systems, Secondary Treatment Systems (STS which were previously known as Aerobic Treatment Units or ATUs) and wash bay waste water treatment systems.
